The Luton and Dunstable University Hospital has become the 1st hospital in UK to host the New National IBD Database Registry.

We are presently a development site and the refinements are still ongoing.

The aim is to trial the database at another 3-4 pilot sites.

If this proves successful the programme will be rolled out throughout the country.

In order to advance our knowledge about inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), we aim to upload the disease details from every IBD patient throughout UK.
